UNIVERSITY OF ARIZONA ENGINEERING INNOVATION BUILDING (EIB)

The EIB, Engineering Innovation Building, is an Iconic educational building at the University of Arizona, Tucson,AZ (hot arid Climate zone, zone 4). It is allocated between AME Building, Speedway, Helen streets and the Highland Underpass, which reflects a great importance to its pivotal location at the UofA. The construction of the 140,000 GSF is scheduled to start by mid 2014 with an approximate budget of $42 Million. The building is intended to serves all engineering advanced r search disciplines consisting of Research Labs, Student Innovation Centers, Student/Faculty offices and the Dean’s quarter.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

This Project is the product of working as a team of three users; ElZomor, Shojaei, Youssef. We proposed an alternative design that paves the way for the building to become a LEED Platinum Certified Building.
